Amorphous Graphite
Amorphous graphite, also known as microcrystalline graphite, is a cryptocrystalline graphite mineral formed by contact metamorphism in coalfields. Its fixed carbon content ranges from 65% to 88% (and some grades exceed 90%), with extremely low contents of impurities such as sulfur and iron. The mineral features high temperature resistance (melting point around 3850℃), excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, and superior chemical stability.
