Kaolin
Kaolin is a non-metallic mineral, a type of clay and clay rock mainly composed of kaolinite group clay minerals. It shows different colors such as gray, black and red due to contained impurities, and turns white after calcination. Its refractoriness reaches 1770℃.

Applications:
It is mainly used in papermaking, ceramics and refractory materials. It is also widely applied in coatings, rubber fillers, enamel glazes and raw materials for white cement. A small amount is used in industrial sectors including plastics, paints, pigments, grinding wheels, pencils, daily cosmetics, soap, pesticides, medicine, textiles, petroleum, chemical industry, building materials and national defense.
