Fused Magnesia Chrome

Fused magnesia chrome is produced by proportioning high-quality chrome concentrate and high-purity light-burned magnesia in a certain ratio. The mixed materials are either blended directly or pressed into briquettes. The chromium content can be adjusted according to different requirements, and then melted in an electric furnace.  This product features high purity, large crystal grain, excellent high-temperature volume stability and outstanding slag resistance.

    It is an ideal raw material for manufacturing of fused magnesia-chrome bricks, magnesia-chrome ramming mass, tundish coating and other products. The finished bricks are widely applied in secondary refining furnaces such as VOD furnace, AOD furnace, RH furnace, as well as non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces.
