    It is mainly used for preparing metallurgical powder, sealing furnace walls and bottoms, and repairing furnace linings. It is also applied to manufacture magnesia bricks and chrome-magnesia bricks, which are widely used in electric furnaces, heating furnaces, blast furnaces and rotary furnaces for non-ferrous metallurgy.
