Applications:
Graphite electrode is an important high-temperature conductive material for electric arc furnace steelmaking. Electric energy is input into the electric furnace through graphite electrodes. The high temperature generated by the electric arc ignited between the electrode tip and furnace charge is used as the heat source to melt the furnace charge for steelmaking.
Graphite electrodes are also adopted as conductive materials in submerged arc furnaces for smelting yellow phosphorus, industrial silicon, abrasives and other materials. Thanks to the excellent and special physical and chemical properties of graphite electrodes, they are also widely used in other industrial sectors.
