Brown Fused Alumina

Brown fused alumina is produced by refining high‑grade abrasive‑grade bauxite, mixed with wood chips and iron filings, in an electric arc furnace at temperatures exceeding 2,250°C, resulting in a refractoriness of over 1,850°C.
